The Divine Message

Greetings young soul, I’ve found you at last.
I bring you a message with meaning that’s vast.

For this message I have you’ll think’s a joke
Because I could be just any bloke.

I’m here to tell you that you’re a God.
An all-powerful being which you’ll find is odd.

Because it seems that you are just one soul.
Swimming around in a giant fish bowl.

So it’s no surprise, you think It’s a lie.
And that some day you’ll grow old and die.

But gods like you live forever.
Time might kill but your end is never.

You’re probably wondering what proof can I give?
And what’s so special about this life you live?

All I can tell you is what I know,
And what happened to you a long time ago:

As an almighty being you had ultimate power,
To make everything and control every hour.

But with great power came great alienation,
You create this world and needed a vacation.

So you made yourself human, just for a while.
To see what it’s like for a creature to smile.

You wanted to experiences being someone first hand,
Even though there was nothing you didn’t understand.

And here you are in flesh and bone,
Not believing you stepped down from your thrown.

I’ve delivered this message, I’ve completed my choir.
These ideas I’ve posed you should not ignore.

For you should be getting the experience you expected,
Even though your power is being neglected.

But this is not about taking back your control.
It’s about looking within to find your ultimate goal.
