Research Scientist
Dr. Mizori received his
Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Saginaw Valley
State University in Michigan in 1991. In 2004
he acquired his Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from the University
of California at San Diego and San Diego State University.
From
1996 to 1997 Dr. Mizori was a Bench Chemist with Quantum Materials
Inc. in San Diego. When Quantum was acquired by Dexter Electronic
Materials in 1997 he became a Senior Development Chemist until
2001.
Dr. Mizori had several
US Patents issued while at Dexter/Loctite, as well as over a dozen
others that are currently
under review. His focus for the past several years has been to
develop new synthetic methodologies in the area of thermoset adhesives
and coatings. He
has extensive
synthetic experience
with maleimides, acrylates, methacrylates, urethanes, epoxies, benzoxazines,
and oxazolines.
Beyond thermoset adhesives,
Dr. Mizori is also an expert in the synthesis of organometallic
compounds, including organoborane
chemistry.
